Dear Friends,
We announced last October that The Christian Science Monitor would shift to a new multi-platform strategy in order to expand its reach as it begins its second century. We have now launched all the products in their new formats. We are grateful for a very positive initial response from our readers and subscribers.
As you may recall, the new formats include:
* The Monitor’s new weekly print edition—delivering perspective, context, and understanding on key global stories and trends. Each issue connects the dots on pivotal events and emerging trends around the world. You can subscribe and/or give a gift subscription to the weekly edition by clicking here.
* The Daily News Briefing—offering a selection by our editors of the most important stories of the day, and featuring: an original column by our editors with their observations about the news, a News-in-Brief column, and our daily Christian Science Perspective article. It’s delivered via e-mail each weekday morning with a link to download that day's issue. You can subscribe to the Daily News Briefing by clicking here.
* CSMonitor.com—providing readers with continuously updated reporting on national and international events throughout the day, seven days a week. It includes audio and video reports and blogs that focus on topics including politics, the environment, and innovation.
* E-mail updates on selected topics that link you back to the Monitor’s online content. To sign up for these free updates, click here.
All of these products provide honest, non-sensational, incisive news designed to help you understand the world and to carry out Mary Baker Eddy's vision of journalism designed to “injure no man, but to bless all mankind” ( The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 353).
Best regards,
Jonathan Wells
