The Christian Science Joint Broadcast Committee, Inc. is a non-profit organization established and supported by the Christian Science churches in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Committee goal is to reach out to everyone through a variety of broadcast activities.

The move of the offices of the Church and of the Christian Science Publishing Society from the Administration and Colonnade buildings into the Christian Science Publishing House is going smoothly. The Christian Science Board of Directors thought you might be interested in the short-term leasing plans for the Administration and Colonnade buildings. You can read about them in the bulletin below which was sent to all Mother Church employees.

THE Mary Baker Eddy Library will repeat its “One World” PROGRAM
Program draws children from Boston neighborhoods
Boston, MA - The Mary Baker Eddy Library at the Christian Science Plaza announced today that the “One World” program, which is a series of free, creative and interactive events for children aged 4-10, has been renewed for 2008. This summer, non-profit organizations helped to build an audience that drew children from more than a dozen Boston neighborhoods. Organizations such as Dorchester Place, the Roslindale Community Center, and the Sunny Bear West Roxbury Day Camp were entertained at the weekly events. Members of the general public were also invited.

The sudden, tragic slaughter of students in Blacksburg, Virginia, caught us all by surprise. I happened to be in a shopping mall at the time, and television monitors everywhere were focused on the breaking news. As the events in that beautiful Blue Ridge city unfolded, we reacted in shock and horror.

The New England chapter of Active Single CS of America (ASCSA) has been dormant for the past year or so. It's time to revive it!
ASCSA held events in the New England area recently with some being national events and some local. From now on, when there is any ASCSA event in the New England vicinity, I will forward any information I receive about it to you, the only exception being the annual Camp Newfound ASCSA event in Maine.

Warren Berckmann is now on board at The Albert Baker Fund (ABF) in the newly-created position of Chief Executive Officer.
