Morning Light Foundation

For Morning Light Foundation, Inc. the concept of care continues to grow and develop. One demonstration of this fact is a wonderful home for our Visiting Nurse Service, called Morning Light Lodge, which is specifically designed to serve the southeast U. S.

Nestled in a wooded setting in northwest metro Atlanta, Morning Light Lodge offers an atmosphere supportive of healing. Individuals seeking a quiet place for prayer, rest, and spiritual study are welcome.

Before we thought about walls and floors, we considered the metaphysical foundation for the Lodge, which is God’s care for His children and the belief that His Christ heals. We know that the role of this institution is not to do the healing, but rather to provide an atmosphere of comfort and care in which visitors can recognize God’s own work. We feel heartfelt gratitude for God’s readiness to meet every human need.

The Lodge itself is a small, cozy home. We open it whenever there is a need. It is staffed as required to provide temporary care for people who rely on Christian Science for healing and who are working with a Christian Science Journal-listed practitioner.

The Lodge is also available for those who seek a quiet place for rest and study. When all present human needs are met, we turn out the lights and close the door, but remain ready to open up again as soon as necessary. In-home nursing care is also provided through our Visiting Nurse Service.

Morning Light Lodge provides:

  • One-on-one nursing care from a Christian Science Journal-listed nurse in a homelike setting.
  • Private bath facilities for each room.
  • Private patios with restful views of the surrounding woods, accessible through French doors.
  • Meals served in an open, inviting dining room or outside on a screened porch.
  • A quiet setting where guests may study the Bible, the works of Mary Baker Eddy, and other authorized Christian Science literature.
  • A public living room with a fireplace and comfortable seating, where guests may receive visitors.
All inquiries about Morning Light Lodge are handled through the Visiting Nurse Service. Please call and leave a message; we’ll respond as soon as possible. You are welcome to schedule an appointment to tour the facility.
